One of Asia's strengths has always been its leading edge in the development and low-cost production of new technologies. The majority of electronics companies, even those originally from Europe and the United States have R&D labs and production facilities in sprinkled across Asia. There are also a fair number of Western companies that re-brand white-label electronics mass-produced in Asia.

Talking Asian Tech is a fortnightly panel-based discussion about developments in Asia's technology industry, new technologies seen around the world that excite the panel as well as answers to listeners' questions.
