New show in partnership with DotAsia Organisation - ListenUp.Asia
Our apologies we've been so quiet for a while, but we've actually been busy planning and producing a brand new show in collaboration with DotAsia Organisation called ListenUp.Asia. The show features interviews with business people and entertainers/celebrities about what they do in relation to the Asia Pacific region.
Our first episode is live! WoW: Words of Wisdom is a go!
Well it's taken significantly longer than anticipated, but we've finally worked out our technical pipeline and have published our first episode of WoW: Words of Wisdom! You can download it from http://asianbusinessradio.com/wow1 (which also has a full transcript should you prefer to read it).
Ask us your questions about business in Asia via Skype, Twitter, Facebook or Email
One of the key goals of Asian Business Radio is to educate people about the different markets, practices and indeed issues they may very well be faced with when doing business in Asia. However, there is only so much we can conceive that you (our listeners) want or need to know about. That is why we have created a variety of channels through which you can ask your questions about Asian business, including Skype, Twitter, Facebook and Email.
Asian Business Radio to soft launch soon!
With our initial website basically done and our recording set-up almost complete, we're getting very close to our soft launch.
Our soft launch will focus on one-to-one interviews with those individuals we envision becoming regular hosts, guests and contributors to Asian Business Radio shows and will become the first episodes of our premiere interview show WoW: Words of Wisdom.
Welcome to The ABR Blog!
In this first post, I'll outline who I am and what I'm trying to achieve with Asian Business Radio. To start with, I would like to introduce myself. I am Alex Trup, founder, CEO, producer, host and all round director of Asian Business Radio. I live in Taipei, but have also previously lived in Shanghai, Hong Kong and Guangzhou for varying periods of time and I do continue to visit them on occasion. After studying a mix of business, marketing and Asian languages (Mandarin, Cantonese and Japanese) at university, I moved to Asia where I have worked as Digital Marketing Manager for a regional marketing and communications company.
